Lindsey Graham just falsely told a bunch of reporters that Democrats are never subjected to accusations of sexual misconduct, and warned them that if Kavanaugh fails, Republicans will gin up false accusations against future Democratic nominees to even the score. Wow.

It's mostly a failure of political commentary and coverage that acknowledging the life and death consequences of policies feels like an escalation in norm-breaking. Without euphemism around what, say, not being able to afford a doctor means, we'd be talking policy more honestly.

For the record, buying my first ticket in Berlin's mobile app play.google.com/store/apps/d… this April or May took me about three tries, because each time I hadn't set up enough while not walking. Probably at least 20-30 clicks.
I'm happy to take transit when it's 1.5x or 2x the time as driving because it's less stressful and I get to do other things, but then...

Yeah, I have all that. But I think I used to be able to say to keep all the notifications, but make them silent. And I no longer see that.
Didn't older Android versions have the ability to make notifications for a particular app be silent but still visible? I miss that feature, and currently want it for Google Fit. That I met a fitness goal doesn't need to interrupt me. I've now disabled Fit notifications entirely.

I believe nothing the White House says on blind faith, but this spokesman seems not to realize that this explanation is much, much worse for Kavanaugh than if the White House shared Ford's name with Whelan after the Post called for comment.

You may wish to give pronunciation guidance. (e.g., separated k vs. Russian "kh" versus Sanskrit-derived "kh")
We've known people who say that their nickname wasn't designed to be pronounced and decline to state a canonical pronunciation. The pronunciation was picked for them.
