@davidbaron this is a version of what I remember you advocating with the benefits of non-linear ordering in bug comments, that not all comments are equal, nor does one always want them replayed in order.
GitHub Reactions are like a developer heat map, indicating where to look.
Github Reactions is the best - anytime I find an issue when trying to solve a problem, I just scan for the reply with with dozens of thumbs ups and know that will fix my issue

They're great -- but the thing I wanted is different. I'd like bug tracking to be done in something more like a wiki and less like an email thread. I don't like the history being the primary view; I want the known state to be the primary view, with ability to see history.
