A pattern I’d like to see disappear completely: 1) Raise issue against a standard. 2) Standards group makes a decision on a call about your issue and closes it without much context.

For CSSWG stuff @davidbaron has a bot that they use to record relevant IRC discussions which get pasted into the issue. Idk what they do about in person discussions and voice calls.

Those aren't IRC discussions; they're telephone or in-person meetings where the minutes are taken in IRC.
