I am so fucking tired of US and Canadian airlines landing a plane and having it sit on the tarmac for 45 minutes waiting for a gate.

Today it's @united. It's been others, but it's much rarer in Europe or Asia.

The definition of an on time arrival should be when the first passenger walks into the terminal building. Then they'd care.

Though there should also be a constraint for baggage delivery for a flight to count as arriving at a specific time.

This is why I love @AlaskaAir 20 min or less baggage garauntee. It doesn't fix the gate issue but does incentivize them to get bags out fast
