Totally agree. Diesel buses and truck are about 4% of traffic in CA & about 25% of air pollution from vehicles.

when you say 4% of traffic do you mean 4% of registered vehicles or 4% of miles driven?

Worth noting that a huge amount of vehicle-created particulate matter comes from brakes and tires, not combustion. EVs don't help there.

I recall seeing particularly bad things about PM2.5 and/or PM10 levels in some of the big RER stations (Auber, Châtelet).
