I wish the char sequence U+270A RAISED FIST, U+FE0F VARIATION SELECTOR-16, U+200D ZERO WIDTH JOINER, U+1F308 RAINBOW did the right thing.

It's a theoretical ZWJ sequence to produce a raised fist painted with the rainbow.

270A FE0F not found in unicode.org/Public/UCD/lates… (but it works: ✊️), and the ZWJ behavior doesn't align well with unicode.org/reports/tr51/#Em… ...

Yeah, I guess RAISED FIST doesn't need the variation selector. ISTM U+270A U+200D U+1F308 would be fine per UTR51. Degrades to ✊🌈.

Though on my machine RAISED FIST is different with and without the variation selector; compare: ✊️ (emoji vs), ✊︎ (text vs), ✊ (no vs).
