Put another way: if a property's value changes but visually remains the same (ie rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) to #000), do transition events fire?

CSS folks poll: would you expect transitionend to fire when"transform: translateX(0)" changes to "translate(0, 0)"? Reply w/ field stories.

Two cases there: computed value stays the same (transition impossible) versus new c.v. that's visually the same (open ques.).
