If I've done the math right, with reduction in pay-per-ride discount + increase in 30-day card, breakeven for 30-day card is 47 swipes.

Yes. I don't remember which of my followers did that, but it was only in the US (where breakeven rates are often high).

IIRC London's breakeven is very low and they sell an annual pass that's an even better deal.

Paris's is very high (50.3) within the city proper, but it's much lower (down to maybe 10) in the suburbs.
