Are these subscriptions (forfaits?) what we call passes (e.g., monthly/annual passes). Or some other distinction?

Yes forfaits. The dézonage is only available on monthly or annual forfaits. Weekly gets dézonage on weekends. @glazou

yes forfait "Navigo". I think it's a yearly subscription with monthly payments IIRC.
