Discovered last week: @.supports (transition-property: nonsense) returns true in Chrome.
But Chromium 34 and below return false.

I found a false positive in Firefox @support {appearance: none} in version 33. The browsers really need to be careful with that.

I've got firefox 33 installed on my machine.
codepen.io/jnowland/pen/bpJX… - this appears yellow. New firefox is fine.

-moz-appearance:none has been supported since before @supports. filter:blur(5px) new in bugzil.la/1057180 (Fx35)
