Specs that aren't implemented are just incredibly boring science fiction. (Thus "specifiction", always a great typo to make in a spec.)

Quibbling over *who's allowed to use the word "spec"* and pretending that's relevant to "what document should I link to?" is weird.

Also hilarious given that "standard" is the sensitive word, and "recommendation" and "specification" are ways to avoid it.
