You are drunk, @firefox. The only thing I've open is an (inactive) scratchpad on about:blank, and u need 3Gb memory?

@davidbaron Arf, sorry, just closed it as my PC began swapping on the hard drive and it droove me nuts. Didn't know about that.
@davidbaron I can try to repro, though, I've the scratchpad still. With a bit of luck...

@FremyCompany "Measure and save" and then "Load" in about:memory can often help explain what's happening.
