@davidbaron Spec says “optional” ligatures, so only applies if font-variant-ligatures etc hasn’t turned them on.

@LeaVerou I read that as meaning ligatures for English as opposed to ligatures for Arabic.

@davidbaron In my testing, Gecko uses a ligature even with letter-spacing, if ligatures have been enabled explicitly.
