I get the feeling I may end up traveling more this year than I have before. What's the best (easiest?) airline to get status on?

@zpao depends where you're flying to most. From SFO, United offers a lot of options, and Star Alliance is great... but United

@gavinsharp @zpao I'd also note that "easiest to status" applies to everyone, meaning more competition for upgrades, busier lounges, etc.

@mconnor @gavinsharp @zpao yeah, you'll probably never get an upgrade on United. I would pick based on good routes to where you travel most.

@mleibovic @mfinkle I primarily fly Delta as a gold and bat around 0.5 for complimentary domestic upgrades.

@khuey_ but where do you fly from SFO? Atlanta and JFK, not many other options! Especially when they stop the Narita flight

@gavinsharp yeah stopping the NRT flight is a big loss. I can fly the CI flight directly but it doesn't earn many miles. Thinking about

@khuey_ @gavinsharp And the 767 hardware they use for SFO-CDG is among the nicer United economy configs. (Yes, @khuey_ should switch.)
