I’m learning that Google Maps public transport timings are… aspirational in San Francisco. Are they using timetable data instead of live?

I thought so, but now I've looked, I may be wrong. They're clearly looking for cities to, but take up of GTFS may be a problem?

Also those contracts with cities may be commercially sensitive (so: private) but I'd think they'd want the PR win of announcing?
