box-shadow as a CSS feature sounds nice, but doesn't work because everybody wants a different sort of shadow.

@davidbaron I absolutely agree. It was ok at the time it was implemented/specified though.

@davidbaron What do you suggest? Deprecating it in CSS BG&B? CSS3 BG&B is no recommendation yet. So it would not be to late.

@davidbaron It can still be mandatory. Deprecation does not implicate that it will be removed.
