But in the days after the piece came out, the publication has been quietly contacting translators to see if they got it right.

Just a few tweets up in my timeline I see pretty firm (and trustworthy) assertions that they did not, in fact, get it right.
anyway @propublica this remains a massive, embarrassing, and seriously harmful series of errors and misrepresentations
