The EU is failing at covid vaccines. In the U.S. anyone over 12 can get B.A4&5-tailored booster now and 5โ€“11-year-olds next month. In the EU, B.A1-tailored some time later for the elderly. In the U.S. & Canada, 0.5โ€“4-year-olds can get vaccinated, in the EU ๐Ÿฆ—๐Ÿฆ—๐Ÿฆ— from EMA.

In the US, I suspect the reason *anyone over 12 who wants to* can get a BA.4/BA.5 booster is that not many people want to. It was pretty quiet where I got vaccinated yesterday and I can't imagine they could roll out this quickly if there was more demand.

That said, I haven't actually seen the numbers for how many shots have been distributed.

So if more people we willing to be vaccinated, the limiting factor would be doses manufactures/distributed and not the labor availability qualified to inject them?
