It's hard for people to *really* understand how widespread expensive housing is in Silicon Valley! So I made this color coded map of Median Home Prices per county. Fun fact: the distance from the top of Marin Co to the bottom of Santa Clara Co = from Times Square to Baltimore!

The east coast cities are farther apart because of the east west travel, but, not that much farther.
Closer match for Philadelphia to Norwalk, CT. Philly-NYC just isn't that far, it's less than 90 minutes by Amtrak train IIRC.
