baguette is the worst bread there is and its not close

Ok, bread has a ranking based on when it's right out of the oven vs cooled off. Baguette is edible out of the oven. It's a participation trophy once its cooled, i.e. by the time you got it in the store.

If you want a baguette you shouldn't ask for a "baguette" anyway... ask for a "tradition".
