I'm glad the council will consider repealing the ordinance which prohibits non-residents from visiting Foothills Park. I’m sad that it took a lawsuit to get us to do the right thing and to end discrimination in this public park. I look forward to seeing you all in Foothills Park.

I am also looking forward to someday telling my first child, who was born on Sunday, that in the week of his birth, we did the obvious right thing and made Palo Alto a little bit better.
