That screenshot cuts off another key piece. (And if you walk around rich parts of Palo Alto you can spot the new houses by the light wells and the egress ladders for their basements.)

Such generous employers the owners must be! The maid’s room is 7’-8” wide INCLUDING the 2’-0” deep closet. So, one’s actual livable bedroom is 5’-8” wide. In a house this giant that’s all they can stand to allocate to the person who will be taking care of their lives?
