Food I'd recommend in Palo Alto: - Taverna (Greek, downtown, reservations req'd) - Ramen Nagi (downtown, wait req'd) - Taste (Sichuan & Beijing-style, downtown) - Chef Zhao (Shanghai-style, Embarcadero & 101, a bit hit-or-miss) - So Gong Dong Tofu House (Korean, El Camino)

On the other hand, if I want to travel further for better Chinese food I'd go to: - Classic Guilin Rice Noodles (Cupertino/San José border) - Full House Dumpling (Taiwanese, Fremont) - wonderful (Hunan-style, Millbrae) Less knowledge of other cuisines lately...
