If a Senator from Hawaii does 40 round-trips between IAD and HNL per year (a total guess on my part), that would be enough to qualify for United million-miler status in about 2 years and 7 months... Ugh.

No way he does 40x per year. More likely 10x. I bet he tries to do DCA-SFO-HNL/DCA-ORD-HNL etc when possible.

Yeah. They probably visit him a number of times, plus his visits will be longer than for House members (many of whom do fly home just about every weekend).
