New CASA map of Sensitive Communities (areas to be exempt from upzoning) is out.
The bar was lowered for SF to pick up more hoods outside BVHP/Miss./China, which made nearly ALL of Oakland exempt. If thats the case, the underlying problem is the dearth of working class SF hoods.

Since Oakland is more responsible with housing, besides Rockridge which will be upzoned, I'm comfortable with this. But I'm baffled at how much lower the bar needs to go to register SF hoods that ends up exempting nearly the entire Oakland metropolis and Outer Bay Area cities.

And one of the pieces of the Peninsula that is included looks like it's because it's full of Stanford grad students and postdocs...
