Never thought about this, it's brilliant. Windows 11 should install things to a path with an emoji. Seriously, the number of students I see in my office with install problems due to their Chinese usernames says we need more forcing functions like this in our code.
The fun bit here, of course, is that putting spaces in default paths was a very explicit design decision. It's a forcing function.

We really need to have Firefox automated tests run with a profile that has unicode characters in the path name. Would uncover all sorts of bugs I'm sure.

I believe @davidbaron has a watch emoji (โŒš) in his Bugzilla name for this kind of reason.

It was more the reason that I put musical symbol characters (๐„ž, ๐„ข, and ๐„‚, which are non-BMP) in my email signature. Emoji have certainly helped make western developers care about things not mangling non-ASCII characters, though.
