Question: Is there any organization that targets the American left with basic explainers/education about the U.S. Constitution? Or any theories on why the left is so Constitutionally illiterate? It's worse than I thought, and I already thought it was pretty bad.

- campaign finance reform (requires a Constitutional amendment) - eliminate electoral college (requires a Constitutional amendment) - make Senate progressive (requires a Constitutional amendment) etc. Where are the active campaigns for a Constitutional Convention on the left?

Senate reform is disallowed by Article V. I don't think a convention under the existing framework makes sense. It requires a convention, separated from the framework for amending the current constitution, after a major constitutional crisis.
2
Article V forbids making the Senate proportional, but does not forbid making it irrelevant like the UK House of Lords.

But to do so would require a vote in both chambers, I presume. Odds on a Senate majority voting itself out of relevance? That said ... how did the Brits do this, exactly?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_… has a bunch of history. (Having the monarch (threaten/offer) to help out in 1910-1911 seems to have been important, and something that won't work here.)
