Can @sfmta_muni explain who in the control room authorized two 2-car K's right behind each other? You’d think if for whatever reason the lead streetcar got caught up, they’d empty the car behind and load them up on the car ahead and re assign that streetcar to a L, N or M.

I think the lines are assigned by a random number generator.
