I'm looking at google street view pics of San Francisco and it's surprising how low density the housing is. Madrid and SF have similar areas (see pic), yet Madrid has almost 4x the population.

In the densest area, Madrid has 32100 people per km2 (Chamberi). London has 15817 (Islington). Tokyo's Toshima clocks in at 22650. Paris wins at 41600 (the 11th Arrondisement) c @bswud

How about Kwun Tong district of Hong Kong, at 56800? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distri… And it includes a decent amount of greenspace (goo.gl/maps/fu3vVDr3vGQ2), too.
