Apple being a trillion dollar company is yawn, whatever, inflation was going to make it happen to some company eventually. Much more interesting is to look at a side-by-side comparison of the 10 largest companies by market cap today (right) versus 10 years ago (left).

This is limited to public companies, right? If private ones were included, wouldn't Saudi Aramco still be at or near the top of both lists?
