Oh, and I almost forgot about having to use Terminal 1 at CDG to take United. (Terminals are equal quality at SFO end.)

And I don't remember the seat width differences on those specific planes, but on pitch UA econ+ beats AF econ beats UA econ.

I'd probably rate them about even on service since I've been bitten by AF's lack of *concern* about promptness one too many times.

I'd pick UA since I have UA status & get free E+ seat, but might go other way w/o status. UA better power, wifi. AF better food.
