@tabatkins @BrendanEich @junglecode @miniscripts Does this "right fix" actually have a chance of happening? This has been known for years.

@BrendanEich @junglecode @miniscripts But we should probably just support it, and make those microsyntaxes do bizarre things.

@BrendanEich @junglecode @miniscripts Would've been nice if the WG hadn't designed complex microsyntaxes that depend on unit disambiguation

@marcosc Wow, haven't seen an empty flight like that for years. Not sure how the airline is making ends meet...
@supersole Also, sorry about responding on airport trivia now but not diversity earlier in the week (while ignoring Twitter)...

@supersole Missed that, thankfully; MCO seemed a typical drab & cramped US airport. Only airport I've seen mice or rats was FRA.

@SFyimby @khuey_ @gavinsharp I think @johnolilly is arguing it's politically counterproductive rather than lacking merit.

@johnolilly Allowing more people to move to the bay area would be a massive boost for the national economy and for the environment.

@johnolilly We can't just have an entire metro area full of cities declaring themselves "for rich people only".

@johnolilly Other cities than what? The housing market is metro-wide, and city-by-city piecemeal policy has been a disaster.

@johnolilly And how do you propose causing enough housing construction in the bay area to reduce redistribution of wealth to landowners?

@Teoli2003 @tobiasbu But there are various optimizations: hash based on target, bloom filters to exclude selectors based on ancestors.

@Teoli2003 @tobiasbu Primarily matching is right-to-left, not left-to-right. And it's filtering the selectors per element (not reverse).
