@thierrykoblentz No, since it's fundamental to the plugin API. Windowed plugins don't let the browser transform them. Use wmode.

@stubbornella ... but those optimizations may be less important now that we use a bloom filter as well, since they serve similar purposes.
@stubbornella In Gecko attr selectors miss out on optimizations we have for id/class/tag selectors; only matters for the rightmost piece.
@timdream Yes, different. OMTC is compositing on its own thread. OMTA is animations (opacity, transform) running on compositor thread.
@timdream OMT animated layers would be a subset of active layers (which would all be OMT composited when we have OMT compsiting)

@timdream Roughly, I think, layers are for things that *might* render to their own graphics memory, and active layers are ones that *do*.

@gsnedders My experience with HP inkjets was a 3-5 year lifetime (2 data points). I got an Epson 16 months ago, so not enough data there.

@tabatkins Red + green looking like spectral yellow is just a function of the actual response curves; little to do with linear spectrum.
