@tabatkins @hsivonen WebKit does have quirk for raw :hover. And Gecko no longer does for .class:hover - removed in bugzil.la/197686

@tabatkins @hsivonen News to me that WebKit doesn't have that quirk. Or maybe it has it for :hover but not .class:hover?

@vinch01 @paulrouget @askoth This button problem is probably fixable with some work, but first I'd want to see a spec laying out the goals.

@paulrouget Per standards, you shouldn't be able to style form controls. Current behavior was an accident, but we're largely stuck with it.
@paulrouget A <button> consists of two boxes nested inside each other; the inner one still has border and padding.
Why does Android make me use a pattern lock instead of a numeric one in order to see the date and time on the lock screen?

Doesn't Android's making an app lose its status as default (browser, etc.) when updated discourage apps from shipping security fixes?

Apartment ads in SF often mention proximity to private transit systems (e.g., Google shuttle). Sad sign of quality of public transit here.

Hmmm. googleblog.blogspot.com/2011… says Google Code Search is going away. Too bad.

I've been impressed multiple times recently at how smoothly printer setup works in Ubuntu 11.04.

@beltzner Hmmm, potential strike. So my plans to do SFO->YYZ on United and then return on Air Canada might not be ideal, then?

@ticism That shows at-replies to people I don't follow, which for some people is most of their stream.

@gavinsharp Glad to hear you're fine. First serious encounter with the US medical system?

@glazou I've seen it both ways in English (and English wikipedia has it both ways).
I wish @twitter had UI for "show me the posts I'd see in my stream if I followed this person."

@zbraniecki I don't think so -- I started doing the same thing after you did.
Needed en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U%2BF8… to learn about private-use character everyone is tweeting. Fine sentiment, but I think it only displays on Macs
