@mirceadesign Did you give it a length value? The spec says it takes lengths, though apparently WebKit takes numbers.

@mirceadesign The cost of animating a property is a function of the property and of other things about the content and style (complexity).
@mirceadesign In Gecko CSS animation perf. similar to changing the same properties in JS (for good uses of JS), but w/o JS or parsing cost.

@BrendanEich @slightlylate @arlolra The "Feedback" image? Gecko's display lists are good at that sort of thing. (Layers might help too.)
