@raccettura I don't think I've ever installed a Facebook app, also due to permissions. But I've installed a bunch of Android apps.
I really shouldn't look at public-html anymore. It just makes me angry whenever I do (and I usually resist the temptation to respond).

...and yelp's web site ought to work better on mobile devices anyway; they shouldn't even need an app.

Am I the only one who doesn't download Android apps when they ask for too many permissions? Yelp and Pandora shouldn't need my contacts.

Why does http://www.bankofamerica.com/verifiedbyvisa redirect to something that looks like (but isn't) a phishing site?

@philikon The problem is that it makes it harder to accept contributions that don't fit nicely into an existing large project.

@karlpro only two trains per day, and I need to be sure I get a seat. Also, train bought <7d costs more than flight bought now.
OK, time to give up on buying a train ticket and just fly from Barcelona to Bilbao instead. I wish Orbitz or Expedia sold train tickets.
I have never spent so much time trying to buy a single train ticket in my life. Visa's "everywhere you want to be" slogan is a lie.

@LeaVerou But many Web pages use the slow cases even when they don't need to, such as Twitter using border-radius + overflow:hidden.
