I've now hit this @Twitter push notifications bug on two computers (the first was a phone): once you get enough Twitter notifications at once, it switches to "N new notifications", and then never un-coalesces. So now I fear my @Twitter notifications are an incrementing counter.

How many of those 55 parcels zoned RT-35 were developed in 2004 or later (by "Year Built SCCA")? None! (The 10 parcels zoned RT-50 did a little better; 2 were developed: 101 Forest and 801/809 Alma.) I'd say this makes it pretty hard to call the SOFA II plan a success. 6/6

When you see something like this (940 and 960 High Street, Palo Alto, CA): - 8 minutes walk from Palo Alto Caltrain, or from University Avenue in the center of downtown - zoned for 35 foot high residential construction (RT-35) - in a location that has had high rents for years 1/3

As expected, not very much software being shipped this week.

Is it too nerdy to think this is the usual way of depicting single-story overlay neighborhoods? (Note: some of those pictured here are within half a mile of the San Antonio Caltrain station, near bottom of map.)

The soda can bridge was never properly reassembled after the move from 1350C Villa to 1981 Landings... Also, it's worth noting that many of the soda cans in the bridge had 1996 olympics special stuff on them. Here's a picture from 1350C Villa, on 2003-12-10.

Today's tale of things being just fine past their expiration date: This lovely rye bread is one of a pair of loaves I baked today. They're the last bread baked with this jar of active dry yeast that wasn't supposed to work after March 28, 2013. (Yes, I overbought around 2010.)
