seriously impressed with blynk.cc for IoT stuff. Very fast to make a smartphone UI for controlling your bits and pieces; made a *super* responsive frontend.

although I will say that the credit system in the app is a barrier to going beyond your first hack. *Paying* by the UI element when you don't know if you will use them *sucks*. cc/ @blynk_app

You can delete the widget you don't need it and get Energy back in full . What exactly *sucks* about that? That it saves you weeks of app development? Or that you can build a prototype in a few mins? or about spending a few bucks for a nice app? 😃

I do appreciate how easy you’ve made things. My point, from a UX point of view, is that instead of playing around freely, I sat there counting how many widgets and shares I could ‘afford’ before I’d figured out if it blynk was any good.

Thanks for your feedback. We are considering another business model, but to allow microtransactions, we had to include internal "currency".
