LinkedIn has finally learned the variety of responses I use when replying to inquiries via DMs.

Anyhow, I got the article and called to cancel. The agent was actually really nice and made it easy for me to cancel (although I would have preferred to do it online). /end
I wait a couple of hours, I still can't read the article. So I think, maybe I should log out, then log back in. I log out and instantly the article appears. Turns out the article is readable when I'm not logged in, but it won't let me read it with my subscription?😂

So I call. And spend 10 minutes with the agent trying to find my account using my name, phone, address, email, account number, and order number. It doesn't exist in their system. So that's 10 minutes of my life gone. Her advice was to wait until their systems catch up.

I try to chat with Customer Service. I paste in the article URL and say that I want to read it. Their chatbot complains I've entered a credit card number and won't let me submit. Turns out the WSJ uses URLs that have credit cards numbers in them. Not really, but they think so.

I pay the subscription, and go back to the article (which btw, is not findable via their search function. Apparently indexing their articles is hard?). Article is still locked and says I need to subscribe. Tf? I'm a subscriber now. So I give it a few minutes, still no go.

I wanted to print a 2009 article from the @WSJ, but their website insisted I had to subscribe because I was out of "free articles". I don't normally read the WSJ, but whatever. It's $8 and I'll cancel right after I print it. 🧵👇

“Amazon is a serial killer.”
Last Friday, CBS cancelled a segment about our clients suing Amazon for selling suicide kits to their now deceased kids. CBS’ cowardice gave me renewed clarity about how urgent this litigation is. 🧵@naomi_leeds 1/

Including me!
On the benefits of embracing remote (for roles where it makes sense) Our recruiting lead at @sardine has hired 50+ Sardines while living in Sweden!

I still have some catching up to do in both departments :)

@RSnake was the first person that taught me that one could be both handsome AND a hacker.

But then how would I know the lyrics to the HR Pufnstuf theme song? Some sacrifices are worth it.

New Zoo Revue is now in my brain! Lots of theme songs surface from time to time: HR Pufnstuf Mighty Mouse George of the Jungle Super Chicken Batman (Adam West) Hong Kong Fooey Felix the Cat Wonder Woman Etc… I’ll even play them for my kids and they’ll think I’m really old.

Note to self, disguise political commentary in cooking content. "Here's the family recipe for a Political Blunders cake. Super yummy and stings when tweeted at politicians."
I haven't used the free Annual Credit Report in a few years, but gave it try tonight. @TransUnion was the only one working. Both @Experian_US and @Equifax had errors. Seems like the @FTC needs to provide better oversight. annualcreditreport.com/

When I lived in Luxembourg, there was a “Mexican” restaurant that served what loosely could be called Tex-Mex. Europe is not a place to eat Mexican food. BTW, don’t try French-made lasagna. You will weep.

Try the test again wearing the glove. Its protection works best when your fingers are inside.

BTW, I noticed @WyndhamHotels website works fine to log into, so apparently only @WorldMark is lucky enough to get the identity provider that can't renew TLS certs on time.
@WorldMark Please wake up your IT team and have them replace the TLS cert on sso.travelandleisure.com. I can't log in because @WyndhamHotels chose to use @TravelLeisure for the auth provider and they didn't renew the TLS certificate.
