That’s awful.

I’m waiting until the bitter end to see how it shakes out. I wondered if the threat of a class action lawsuit would soften their stance, and seems it did, or perhaps the mass exodus. Either way, glad to see I finally have a good path.

@jasonhuck am I reading this right, we can keep our free G Suite Legacy account? Are there any downsides to keeping it? I don't see any, but maybe I'm missing something. We do get to keep using our personal domains. support.google.com/a/answer/…

I guess the upside is there's an elaborate page to view billing in a dozen different ways. Or maybe it's a downside. Just how expensive is this thing?
Reloading the Dataflow page changed the "Try Dataflow Free" button into a "Go to console" button. My expectation, as a user, is that if I say I want to try a product, it should take me to that product, not the billing page of that product. But maybe it's just me.

I thought I'd explore GCP Dataflow. Clicking the "Try Dataflow Free" button dumps me into a billing admin page. Perhaps a sign of what is to come, but how do I actually try Dataflow? Or is it a product that just bills you? Super confused.

True. I just splice videos and add music, it does it well enough for the few times a year I need it. Oh, I use VLC for playing videos (it supports music too).

I use Kdenlive for video editing. My needs are simple though, so can’t speak to what it lacks vs commercial software. And I use Handbrake to convert video formats.

Yes, I carved a Mission out of a soap bar and did a field trip to San Juan Capistrano (where the emphasis was on the swallows that return each year).

I knew a bit about American Indian Boarding Schools in the US, but what I didn't realize is that the "rampant physical, sexual, and emotional abuse; disease; malnourishment; overcrowding; and lack of health care" was largely carried out by **churches**: cbsnews.com/news/indian-boar…

The iOS @Barbie Dreamhouse game added a camping section that includes a RV. The RV has a pop-out panel that opens, except it stopped working. Thus giving kids a realistic view into RV ownership. 🤣

Who puts velocity controls on *successful* logins? @Apple apparently. Here's a thought, detect I'm already logged in and don't ask me to log in again. And if you are going to ask me to repeatedly log in, don't have velocity controls on that.
I had @doordash walk off with my $80 @ChipotleTweets order. Doordash refused to refund, but Chipotle did. Stopped using Doordash that day. Stealing from your customers seems like a bad strategy…
Did y’all know @DoorDash new terms of use include them not giving a refund even if you don’t get an item? *deletes app*…cause no
