PEO makes it super easy, plus you get big corp benefits you can offer your employees. I’ve gone the PEO route a few times, just make sure they reduce your rate for employees that exceed Social Security withholding limits once that’s hit.

You know it’s election season in New Hampshire when you see this on the back of a monster truck cruising through the parking lot of a shopping center.

I saw you briefly in the hallway of my worst interview. I had a great day of interviews until the last one, and he apparently was in a bad mood or maybe is just an asshat all the time. Either way, I never heard from Microsoft ever again. Literally. I flew home and that was it.

When setting up a HP printer for the first time, you have the option to buy your own ink OR pay a subscription based on pages printed (ie ink is “free” but only while you have a sub). Bonus: the flow will push you into a subscription unless you click all the correct buttons.
This is a fascinating piece about a conman who scammed women out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. It brings a human face to financial abuse, and how financial crimes against women are discounted because they knew the man/were in a relationship with him getpocket.com/explore/item/t…

Amazing! 🙌 Two young boys set out to surprise their grandmother in dinosaur costumes at the airport. She's finds out ahead of time and decides to surprise them first. The result...? Exactly what the world needs right now. Source: vancouverisland.ctvnews.ca/g…

Well, I saw you speak about something, but it was years ago and lost to the recesses of my brain. Guess I mixed that memory up with this paper. microsoft.com/en-us/research…

I recall reading about a photographer that traveled to Cuba to photograph Ernest Hemingway and found him shirtless and drunk. Hemingway insisted he be called “Papa” and the photographer replied, “Can Papa put on his shirt?”

@randomdross Didn’t you present on site isolation at some point in the past? I have a memory of attending your talk...

Check out @LeaKissner’s excellent analysis of the CCPA regulations from a privacy engineering perspective.
#CCPA (the California Consumer Privacy Act) is coming into effect in 2020 and it's confusing. I read through the draft regs with the eye of a privacy engineer who's seen how regulations work and fail. Commentary and suggested fixes: buildwithrespect.com/2019/11…
