Just spent the last hour manually moving files around on @dropbox. If a moved folder contains a lot of files, @dropbox can't move it. #lame

@bilcorry Hi Bil, the Dropbox website has a maximum of 10,000 files that can be moved or renamed at one time. Have you tried our... 1/2

@DropboxSupport can you make the arbitrary max file count higher? Like 50k?

@DropboxSupport Ask them to associate files with folders, that way I'm moving one item (the folder), not 20k (folder and underlying files)

@bilcorry If you want to move a synced folder out of the Dropbox folder into an unsynced folder, you should be able to move it normally.

@DropboxSupport But I can't because of 10k limit, which is why desktop app isn't a solution to 10k problem.
