There was no Apple TV. Just DEFCON shenanigans.

Pro Tip: On your iOS or iPadOS device, go to Settings > Notifications > Apple TV Keyboard and turn off Allow Notifications. #DEFCON31 @defcon

Did you find that the connections stopped after disabling this setting?

No, I got another pop-up elsewhere at DEFCON related to AppleTV. So there must be another setting, or maybe there isn’t a way to prevent it other than disabling Bluetooth.
