I made a slight change to my homeowners policy, which triggered a 1 cent increase. I suspect the credit card fees to process my payment were higher. Whatever @Allstate.

Sorry, a canned response then. Clearly it’s what you tell people when they complain their rate has jumped up some significant amount. Mine is a penny, which means Allstate didn’t really mean for my rate to increase, but was likely caused by rounding to the nearest penny.
