This is pretty cool! -- what other fun physical sources of randomness are in use at large companies?
I was today years old when I found out Cloudflare has a wall full of lava lamps they feed into a camera as a way to generate randomness to create cryptographic keys

not sure... I just remember it being discussed during my undergrad times that they "sell" random numbers :)

BTW, next time you’re in SF, swing by the Cloudflare office. The lamps are in their reception area, you don’t need to be granted access to see them. When I stopped by, they gave me free swag.
