Did you need another reason not to use SMS for 2FA? Well, here you go. (PS - It may also be time to consider switching from carriers that insert ads into SMS.)
I just received a two factor authentication SMS from Google that included an ad. Google's own Messages SMS app flagged it as spam.
What a shameful money grab.
