1) Gotta run the downloadable tool that does this for you. Strike 1.

2) The tool gives you no idea what version of Windows 10 is going onto the USB. Strike 2.

3) Run the EXE, make all your selections, get to the last step. Sorry, you're not administrator, go away. Strike 3.

4) Run the EXE as Administrator, make all your selections, get to the last step. Sorry, you're not administrator, go away. Strike 4.

5) Log in to a grown ass Administrator account on the machine. Download the tool again, run it again, let it make you an install USB.

THE GRAND FINALE! After like 30 mins of writing and then verifying the USB... 😡

Trying again with the USB pre-formatted to Fat32 instead of NTFS. Because of course the tool couldn't be bothered to format the drive it's overwriting. Or let me know it's the wrong format. Or at least fail prior to 45 mins of doing nothing.
