I'm disappointed by Tyson's repeated defense of this statement. It's both ineffective and wrong. Ineffective: no one ever changed their mind because someone demanded blind faith. This just racks up likes from people who already like science.
The good thing about Science is that it’s true, whether or not you believe in it.

I have a folder of news articles filled with stories of scientific “facts” that are later proven to be wrong. My folder is named “The Religion of Science.” Here’s a fun one. Dan Shechtman won a Nobel Prize for a discovery that everyone said was fake. theguardian.com/science/2013…
