For those with university degrees in marketing, is there actually a class that teaches you to put unsubscribe links at the bottom of emails in light gray text, over a white background, and use 6pt font? There must be.

The more clever ones ensure there’s an unsubscribe link, but is below the Gmail cutoff

I've been unsubscribing from @Law360 emails and noticed that they are always cutoff in @gmail just above the unsubscribe link. I wondered how they were able to get Gmail to hide the unsub link, turns out there is a lengthy "Rising Stars" side column. /1 #darkpatterns
