Now the press release for “Lawful Access to Encrypted Data Act,” which asserts the opposite, that maybe catching bad actors is worth destroying secure communications for everyone.

BTW, the press release says assistance is required “only after a court issues a warrant, based on probable cause that a crime has occurred” but keep in mind that the FBI already gets warrants where it lies about probable cause.
